"PRO NET" FORMAT: Events are individual stroke play (net) over 18 holes. Each event will also include two optional games, “skins” (gross score) and “closest-to-the-pin” (all par 3’s).
ELIGIBILITY: Participation in a tour event is limited to members of Golf Talent Tour. Membership is open to any male or female golfer, amateur or professional. Female participants will play one tee forward of the men. The tour reserves the right to refuse or rescind a player’s membership if, in the tour’s sole discretion, it deems that player’s presence to be detrimental to the tour.
GUESTS: Tour members are encouraged to invite players to be a guest participant at a single Tour event. Guests will not be eligible for the stroke-play competition but may play in “games”. The tournament will count towards participation in the Tour Championship if the guest becomes a member.
RULES: U.S.G.A. Rules of Golf 2010-2011 govern all play and will be strictly enforced. The ball is to be played as it lies and all putts must be holed. It is each player’s responsibility to be familiar with the rules and to protect the entire field if a breach is observed. If a question arises and cannot be answered immediately, a provisional ball should be played, and the matter brought to the attention of the Tour staff for final disposition. All disputes will be settled by the Tour Director or his designee and all decisions are final.
PACE OF PLAY: Play “ready golf” and putt continuously. All Golf Talent Tour players are responsible for keeping up the pace of play with a completion target of 4 hours 20 minutes. Players who are determined to be “out of position” and fail to return a scorecard within 4 hours 30 minutes will be assessed a two (2) stroke penalty.
GUESTS: Tour members are encouraged to invite players to be a guest participant at a single Tour event. Guests will not be eligible for the stroke-play competition but may play in “games”. The tournament will count towards participation in the Tour Championship if the guest becomes a member.
MEMBERSHIP FEE: $105.00.
HANDICAPS: Upon acceptance of their membership application, a player will be given an initial tour handicap based on their U.S.G.A. Index or other verifiable handicap. Professionals will play their first event at scratch. All players earn a tour handicap, reviewed weekly, on the basis of their GTT Tour scores.
PURSES ARE PAID IN CASH. Players wishing to protect their amateur status will be paid by gift certificate ($750.00 maximum) and are required to sign a “Waiver of Cash Prizes”. “Games” winners will be paid in cash. (Note: Players who earn $600.00 or more per year in purses will receive Tax Form 1099.)

The tournament entry fee will vary from site to site (see SCHEDULE) and will be all inclusive. Optional games (“skins” and “closest-to-pin”) will be additional. Tournament fees do not need to be paid in advance but entries paid at the tournament site must be in cash.
TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP: Tour members must play in at least six (6) of the regular season events to qualify for the season ending Tour Championship.
STARTING TIMES: Final pairings and starting times will be e-mailed to players the day prior to the event.
WITHDRAWALS: Any player who enters an event and fails to appear without properly withdrawing will be responsible for payment of any site fees or expenses charged to the Tour, and will not be permitted to enter any future event until such obligation is satisfied.

DRESS CODE: Soft spikes are mandatory at all sites. No coolers of any kind will be permitted on the golf course.
RAIN POLICY: Events will not be cancelled because of weather conditions. In the case of inclement weather the Head Professional at the site, or his designee, will determine if the players need to leave the course. In such an event, mark your ball and leave the course immediately. If all players have completed nine (9) holes a tournament will be considered official. If minimum play cannot be completed, all players will be given a credit for a future tournament minus course fees.
"ONE-BALL" RULE WAIVED: The “one ball rule” is not in effect, but a player must inform a fellow competitor when a ball is being substituted (Penalty: Disqualification).
ETIQUETTE: All players are expected to observe golf course etiquette. Club throwing and loud and abusive language will not be tolerated.
